Charlie Rex

I'm a PhD student in Earth Sciences who is passionate about communicating science and teaching. My research examines changes in the East Asian Monsoon system in Japan across periods of dramatic global warming. I joined CSA Africa in 2022 as a media and communications volunteer, and have the joyful role of capturing the 2022 workshops on film. I also run our many social media accounts, work on our website, and am involved in the partnership side of the organisation too. I have 2 years of experience managing professional social media accounts and organising large academic events.
